Duotone Hoop Earrings
I hand form and hand paint these with 3 layers of underglaze (color) and leave them unglazed. I make all my jewelry with either hypoallergenic niobium or stainless steel ear hooks/studs. As someone with sensitive ears, I'm always mindful of the struggle for earrings that won't irritate allergic or sensitive ears. The best part is, they also will not tarnish! They measure about 2" long from the top of the hook.
Ceramic earrings are pretty sturdy since they're fired in a kiln at 2232°F (1220°C)! I've had mine fall without breaking. They are also waterproof!
