Evil Eyes Smudging Plate
A small plate with hand painted black evil eyes with a clear glaze on top. In Turkish culture, the “nazar” image symbolizes the “evil eye”: the eye of jealousy which is thought to bring harm or misfortune. If one wears or displays the nazar, the eye repels that energy thereby dispelling any negative effects. Pack a little extra power to your smudging sessions! It can also be used to hold meaningful jewelry or other important objects. Each evil eye plate is thrown on my wheel, hand painted with black underglaze, fired in my kiln, glazed with a clear glossy glaze, and then fired a second and final time. Plates measure about 4.5-5" wide. Add on a sage bundle 🌿
