Retro Groovy Hoop Earrings
I hand form and hand paint these with 3 layers of underglaze (color) and then partially glaze them with a clear glossy glaze, leaving the top half unglazed. I make all my jewelry with either hypoallergenic niobium or stainless steel ear hooks/studs. As someone with sensitive ears, I'm always mindful of the struggle for earrings that won't irritate allergic or sensitive ears. The best part is, they also will not tarnish! Choose from 2 sizes. The small measures about 2" long from the top of the hook and the medium measures about 2-1/2" long.
Ceramic earrings are pretty sturdy since they're fired in a kiln at 2232°F (1220°C)! I've had mine fall without breaking. They are also waterproof!
