Nazar Evil Eye Incense Burner
A stick incense holder made with a hand painted nazar (evil eye) design. In Turkish culture, the “nazar” image symbolizes the “evil eye”: the eye of jealousy which is thought to bring harm or misfortune. If one wears or displays the nazar, the eye repels that energy thereby dispelling any negative effects. Each evil eye burner is thrown on my wheel, hand painted with 3 layers of each color, fired, glazed with a clear glossy glaze, and then fired a second and final time. Burners measure about 4.5-5" wide.
Comes with a pack of Nag Champa incense sticks! Nag Champa is my favorite incense, with its woodsy earthy scent.
DETAILS:
🧿 Wheel Thrown Pottery
🧿 Clear Glaze over Blue, Light Blue, and Black Underglaze
🧿 Measures about 4.5-5” wide and about 3/4” tall
All pottery pieces are careful wrapped with re-used or environmentally friendly packing materials and shipped in large boxes to keep them safe and secure
