Smudging Plate No. 5
This small plate was made with one of my absolute favorite glaze combos one of which is a crystalline glaze. Crystalline glazes have tiny explosions when fired which create blossoms of color over their ceramics. The very light blue/white looks almost like seafoam over the dark blue, reminiscent of waves crashing. I also love the reddish-brown patches this combo creates, adding a little warmth to the various blue tones. These small plates are perfect for use as a smudging plate or to hold jewelry, crystals, and other knickknacks. Add on a sage bundle 🌿
