I hand form and hand paint these with 3 layers of underglaze (color) and then partially glaze them with a clear glossy glaze, leaving the top half unglazed. I make all my jewelry with either hypoallergenic niobium or stainless steel ear hooks/studs. As someone with sensitive ears, I'm always mindful of the struggle for earrings that won't irritate allergic or sensitive ears. The best part is, they also will not tarnish!
Ceramic earrings are pretty sturdy since they're fired in a kiln at 2232°F (1220°C)! I've had mine fall without breaking. They are also waterproof!
Choose from 2 sizes. The small measures about 2" long from the top of the hook and the medium measures about 2-1/2" long.
